The problem you can't see.
A modern, five-year-old home with no mould in sight. The clue was under the kitchen sink - a slow, hidden leak and an airborne mould-spore count in the millions.

Strip-out, drying and two dry-fog phases on site
Airborne spores after <13/m³ Below the lab's detection limit; outdoor reference 53/m³ that day
"It was almost like night and day… that's really money well spent."
Hidden in a new build.
Rob and Helen's house was only five years old — modern, dry, and, as far as anyone could see, spotless. Mould wasn't even on their radar.
The worst mould problems are often the ones you can't see. Rob's was hidden — and he found it by refusing to guess.
Something about the house nagged at him, and Rob doesn't guess. He worked it methodically, even weighing up the working farmer's field facing the house, until only the house itself was left.
Then he looked under the kitchen sink. The cabinet base had crumbled. A slow, poorly fitted dishwasher leak had been soaking the screed for a long time — never pooling, never visible — feeding mould behind the units.
"Having not done this before, we would like some clarity on a few things, if that's acceptable."
So we led with proof: a diagnostic survey and independent testing pinpointed the hidden source, and our Pure Home treatment brought the mould under control.
A concealed, long-running leak from a poorly fitted dishwasher supply pipe fed the base of the kitchen units and saturated the concrete screed beneath.
Timber decay at the base of the units, with active mould in the plasterboard behind — DNA dust testing rated the kitchen the highest severity on the scale.
With the leak rectified, the residual moisture mechanism was condensation — humid indoor air meeting cold surfaces, now graded low-risk in every room.
After treatment, the airborne mould-spore count in the affected area fell below the lab's limit of detection - under the outdoor reference sample taken during the same period: a reduction of more than 99.99%.
"Pure Maintenance came and did what they said they were going to do and it just made a huge change to me."
The process behind the transformation.
Four stages. One day on site. Independent lab evidence at both ends — before you spend, and after we leave.
Comprehensive survey and independent laboratory testing to identify the root cause — not just the visible symptoms.
Patented two-step dry-fog process, applied throughout the property to reach every surface the air touches and reduce mould contamination, then an antimicrobial film to inhibit regrowth.
Post-treatment lab testing gives written, independent evidence of the spore-count reduction. No claims without numbers.
A follow-up in the weeks after treatment confirms the result has held — clear air, no regrowth, and the evidence to prove it.
What a homeowner actually wants to know.
Yes — mould is about moisture, not age. A hidden leak fed heavy mould behind Rob's kitchen, with nothing showing on the walls.
Independent lab testing, before and after. Rob's airborne spores fell from 1,400,000/m³ to below the lab's detection limit — proof in writing.
We do the remediation — strip out the damaged materials, dry the structure and control condensation. We diagnose the leak and refer it on.
Hidden moisture doesn't fix itself — it spreads, and the repair grows. Rob wanted proof first. Six months on, no recurrence.
If you think you have a problem with mould, start with a survey.
Diagnostic moisture & mould survey. Independent US-tested treatment. Lab-verified results. 12-month limited retreatment warranty (T&Cs apply).
A diagnostic visit to identify exactly what's happening — before you spend anything on treatment.
Subject to availability and survey findings, urgent cases may be booked within 24 hours — most homes treated in a single day.
